First, please follow this link: https://apaportal.com
Log in using the same email and phone number you onboarded APA with.
For Android:
- Open Chrome: Launch the Chrome browser on your Android phone.
- Navigate to the Google Site: Go to the specific Google Site page you want to add to your home screen.
- Access the Menu: Tap the three dots (also known as the “More” menu) in the top right corner of the Chrome browser.
- Select “Add to home screen”: In the menu, you should see an option labeled “Add to home screen”.
- Rename the Shortcut (Optional): You’ll be prompted to enter a name for the shortcut. You can use the default name or rename it.
- Add to Home Screen: Tap the “Add” button to finalize the process.
- Access from Home Screen: A new shortcut will be added to your home screen, allowing you to open the Google Site directly.
For IOS:
- Open Safari and visit the Google Site: Launch the Safari browser on your iPhone and go to the Google Site you want to add to your home screen.
- Tap the share icon: Look for the share icon, which is represented by a square with an arrow pointing upwards, at the bottom of the screen.
- Select “Add to Home Screen”: Scroll down the list of options in the share sheet and tap “Add to Home Screen”.
- Customize (optional): You can edit the name that will appear under the shortcut icon if you want.
- Tap “Add”: Tap the “Add” button in the top right corner of the screen to place the shortcut on your home screen.
For Windows:
- Open the website in your browser:
Navigate to the Google Site you want to add to your home screen using your preferred browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, etc.). - Use your browser’s features:
Android (Chrome): In the address bar, click the three dots (โฆ) and select “Add to home screen”. You can then customize the name of the shortcut and tap “Add”. - Windows 10/11 (Edge/Chrome): While viewing the website, you can often drag the website icon or URL from the address bar to your desktop or taskbar to create a shortcut. You can also right-click on the shortcut and change its icon, according to Microsoft Community.
- Windows 10/11 (Chrome): You can create a shortcut by clicking the three dots (โฆ) in the top-right corner, hovering over “Save and share,” and clicking “Create shortcutโฆ”.
- Adjust settings if needed:
You might need to enable “Add to home screen” or install the website as an app if “Add to home screen” isn’t immediately available, especially on Android. - Access the shortcut:
Once the shortcut or app is created, it should appear on your home screen and you can access it like any other app.
*Note: For e-scripts, please let your patients know that they should receive a text message with the prescription within 24 hours on weekdays.
